Storehouse
Through Storehouse we provide food and other non-perishable goods to those in need. This is an opportunity to give in a way that everyone can contribute. Each week we bring groceries to the Sunday morning service and leave them at the Storehouse table. The Team make up gift bags from the goods provided. These are available to be taken away after the service for yourself or someone you know who might be in need.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in”. [Matthew 25:35]
Olive Tree
The heart of the Olive Tree ministry is to demonstrate kindness to families or individuals going through tough and distressing times and to provide help in practical ways, as well as offering friendship and giving emotional support where needed. We support women who, for example, may have been abused, made homeless or are struggling with parenting their children.
“The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” [Psalm 34:18]
The Yard
The Yard is our community base in the middle of the Ashburton Estate in Putney. At The Yard we are hoping to find ways for people to learn, grow and be better equipped to deal with all that life throws at them. So whether they need help with computer skills, writing letters or CVs, or they’re just finding life too hard to deal with, we can help.
Healing on The Streets [Balham]
We believe that people are one encounter away from meeting Jesus. We meet at Balham Community Space every fortnight on a Saturday from 1.30-3.30pm. We meet people on the High Street, hear their stories and pray for them and we have seen God change lives.
Community Outreach
From time-to-time we have the opportunity to serve our local communities in a practical way – from re-painting a school in Roehampton to hosting a Christmas service in a Residential Care Home.
