Getting Involved
Following Jesus means becoming more like Jesus, and the way God planned this should happen is through active involvement in the church. This is accomplished in SW London Vineyard by people being committed to Christ, His Church and His Cause and by:
Coming to Sunday Services
We come together to celebrate God’s goodness and faithfulness, as well as to receive encouragement, biblical teaching and other ministry.
Joining a Housegroup
The life of a disciple is meant to be lived out and developed in the context of the Body of Christ. The ideal setting for this is a weekly housegroup where we meet, eat, worship and pray for one another.
Finding Somewhere to Serve
We all need an opportunity to serve and to give away all that God has given us. We encourage everyone to become involved in an existing area of ministry.
Giving Money Regularly
Giving away a proportion of our income to the church God has called us to serve is an important part of being a disciple, clearly taught in the New Testament.
Obtaining the Blessing of Your Previous Church
If you have moved to us from another church we urge you to ask for their blessing as you join SW London Vineyard. This helps to maintain unity in the Body of Christ.
